DEETEES - LOVE IS SYDNEY
SIZE & FIT
Description
Sydney is feeling the World Pride Love this year, so we thought we'd share some Sydney Love. We're not affiliated with World Pride - but we love our town and the awesome queer community who inhabit it.
These are a very limited edition featuring our LOVE print with the name SYDNEY added.
We're gave $10 from every pair we made to a great charity called Twenty10. They're a Sydney service who provide a broad range of specialised services for young people 12-25 including housing, mental health, counselling and social support. For adults they provide social support and for people of all ages they offer telephone support and webchat as the NSW provider for the national QLife project. They also offer inclusivity training and consulting for organisations and service providers across most sectors. Learn more about them HERE.
Our signature mid rise DEETEES.
A mix of polyester and spandex makes for a stretchy fabric and a tighter fit - but still really comfy.
They're not called Dick Togs for nothing.
- 7cm side width.
- Elastic support on legs and waist.
- White draw string front.
- Wear them just under your hips.
- Fully lined in front.
Chlorine resistant - but not as sturdy as our Classics and Racerbacks. Give them a rinse in cold water and let them dry out after each use for a longer life.
GREEN STUFF
Our swimwear is made with recycled polyester, which means the polyester fibres are created by taking plastics from landfill and mechanically breaking them down, melting them into pellets and then spinning thread.
Recycled fabric is great - but beware anyone who tells you it's sustainable! The fabric can’t be recycled again for use in fashion textiles. The best way to keep plastic out of the ocean is to stop buying it.
