First — get your size right
The easiest way to find your Sluggers size is to use your underwear size as a guide. If you're a Large in your Calvins, you're a Large in Sluggers. DEETEES — the easy fit
DEETEES are our signature mid-rise swim brief and the most popular style in the range. Made from a stretchy polyester and spandex blend, they fit like lycra underwear with a drawstring waist. The stretch means they're forgiving across a wide range of body types — lean, stocky, tall, short. If you've never worn a swim brief before and you're not sure where to start, start here.
DEETEES are chlorine resistant but not chlorine proof — they're best suited to beach swimming, casual pool use, and general summer wear rather than daily lap training. If you regularly soak in a hot tub you should change into a pair of our chlorine proof Racerbacks or Classics.
RACERBACKS — the Spider-Man build
Racerbacks are made from 100% polyester with no elastane. That means they're completely chlorine proof — the fabric won't degrade no matter how much time you spend in the pool. They're cut close to the body and sit lower than our other styles, making them a great fit for lean, athletic builds.
If you're a regular lap swimmer, do squad training, or play water polo, Racerbacks are the ones. They'll outlast any lycra brief you've ever owned.
CLASSICS — the Batman build
Classics use the same 100% polyester chlorine proof fabric as Racerbacks, but are cut with a fuller seat designed for blokes with a stockier, more muscular build. If standard swim briefs tend to cut in or feel tight across the seat, Classics are made for you.
They're popular with rugby players, gym-goers, and anyone who's ever been told their bum doesn't fit in a standard brief. These are the Sluggers you're looking for.
