Australia to Germany, Sweden and Denmark Duties and Taxes

Australia to Germany, Sweden and Denmark Duties and Taxes

Duties and taxes by country: USA | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany, Sweden & Denmark

WE SHIP DDP (DELIVERED DUTY PAID)

DDP means all import duties and taxes are paid up front, at checkout. Whatever you pay at checkout is the final amount for your order.

  • Nothing to pay when your parcel arrives. No bill from the postal service or courier, no customs fees at the door, no held parcel waiting on payment.
  • EU VAT (19% in Germany, 25% in Sweden and Denmark) and EU import duty are already included in the price you see on our site.
  • We pay the authorities for you before your parcel leaves Australia.

Parcels shipped from Australia to the EU are subject to import VAT and customs duty. This applies to any parcel crossing the border, not just ours. Here's how it works, so there are no surprises at your door.

HOW IT'S CALCULATED

  • Import VAT: 19% in Germany, 25% in Sweden and Denmark, charged on the item value plus duty (and postage). Our prices already include it.
  • Customs duty on swimwear entering the EU.

HOW IT'S CHARGED

We use Zonos, a customs and duty specialist, to pay your VAT and duty on your behalf before your parcel leaves Australia. You shouldn't be asked for anything further when your parcel arrives.

SHIPPING

  • Germany, Sweden and Denmark: Standard A$19.00 or Express A$60.00 (about €12 and €39)

Prices are shown in euros (Germany), Swedish kronor (Sweden) and Danish kroner (Denmark). Shipping is priced in Australian dollars and converted at checkout, so the amount may vary slightly with the exchange rate.

WHAT WE COVER

Zonos charges us a processing fee on every EU order, and the EU charges a handling fee per item. We don't add those as separate lines at checkout. They're built into our EU pricing.
